Gilt by Appointment

After the completion of The Gilt Shop at Saks Off 5th, Gilt’s appointment-based personal shopping service moved from its original corporate headquarters at 2 Park Avenue to the space next to The Gilt Shop. Once again, the team reached out to our VP of User Experience and Design and me to sketch out what we envisioned for the store since we were both familiar with The Gilt Shop and Gilt by Appointment as a whole. When it first launched at the Gilt office, I lead the designs for the digital experience while working closely with the Director of Retail Innovation.

We continued our partnership with the Director of Store Planning and Design to build out our vision for this space. I was able to communicate the general layout by doing an initial sketch and then doing a more detailed layout in SketchUp. Additionally, I took this time to improve on the digital presence with the new physical space updates.
