The bio section of my site has always intimidated me. What do I reveal about myself in a few paragraphs or less? First things first, I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in May 2009 with a BFA degree in Industrial Design and a passion for graphic design and illustration. It was, hands down, the best four years of my life (so far).

I enjoy walking around the galleries of Chelsea in New York City to learn about various contemporary artists and love seeing how art is constantly evolving. Mixed-media/collage work can really get me excited. If there are typography and three-dimensional objects thoughtfully and successfully involved, I give it a "HOLY CRAP!" Mac Premo is one of my favorite examples. Additionally, great furniture design is something that inspires me (you will often see me passing around blog posts that feature furniture).

Besides art and design, I love to run. I ran the Boston half marathon for the first time in 2008 and did it again five months later in New Bedford. Taking a break from your art is a great way to get your creative juices flowing, and running is my way of doing just that.

I am a fan of spicy buffalo wings, Tropicana orange juice, Back to the Future, Swiffer, hazelnut coffee, the Food Network, wood, and all things orange.

I'm not exactly sure what I will and want to be doing 10 or 20 years from now. I do hope to find a long-term goal soon and work towards that goal with great ambition. I like that both my life and career are open-ended. Right now, my biggest desire is to keep learning.

I am currently working as a designer at Organic, Inc. in New York, NY.
